About Cub Scout Pack 1519
Cub Scout Pack 1519 was formed in 1967, just as many homes in the Hayfield neighborhood of Alexandria, VA were being constructed. It's charter organization is the Hayfield Citizens Association (HCA).
It has as an association with Hayfield Elementary School, which opened in the fall of 1966. Hayfield Elementary and the surrounding neighborhoods sit on land once owned by George Washington.
Our scouts usually meet as dens once or twice a month in addition to the entire pack meeting about once/month. Pack meeting include events like the fall and spring campouts, pinewood derby, and end-of-year pool party.
Pack 1519 meetings (both Pack and Den) are often attended by numerous family members, including siblings of all ages who are often welcome to join in anything fun that happens to be going on.
